Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Barton-Upon-Humber
Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Barton-Upon-Humber is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences across EYFS to KS2.
Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils across EYFS–KS2.
- Build a safe, welcoming classroom where children feel supported to take risks and grow.
- Track, assess, and celebrate pupil progress, identifying next steps for learning.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote children’s academic and personal development.
- Play an active role in the wider school community, always upholding safeguarding responsibilities.
To be successful as a Primary Teacher, you should:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
- A flexible, resilient approach to meet the needs of individual learners.
- A genuine passion for education and dedication to supporting every child’s success.
- Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
