Kate is a qualified and experienced DT teacher who specialises in graphics, resistant materials and product design at Key Stage 3 and 4. Prior to teacher training she has worked for over 16 years as a scenic artist/designer and she uses this experience to enhance her teaching. She ensures that students are aware of the relevance of their school work and broadens their understanding of the commercial side of a variety of creative industries. Kate is available for long term positions from September 2010.
