Marzan is currently completing his PGCE in Geography at the Institute of Education. He has the ability to effectively manage young peoples behaviour, through good interpersonal skills and he is motivated to bring out the best in young people. He also works part time as a project worker with Barnados and plans activities in the centre to partake with the young people with autism. - Working with young carers by planning and engaging in activities inside the centre
- Speaking and listening to the young carers and providing emotional support
-Providing a relaxing and friendly environment for the young carers to meet up with other young people and have a positive experience.

- Responsible for the unions sports clubs, student societies, volunteering and fundraising
- Piloted the Aim higher Student Associate Scheme, qualified twelve sports club members with CSLA and mentored young people in local schools
- Organised National Volunteering Week, encouraging students to volunteer within the local community. Opportunities available to work with elderly people, in schools, in homeless shelters and fundraising for charity
- Organised the first ever inter-cultural collaboration of societys showcase which was held at the Indigo, at The O2, which is now an annual event after the approval by the Principle of the University and Chief Executive of the Students Union
