How GSL Education established
In 1990 the founder of GSL Education, motivated out of a need to improve education services for young people in the local area, started the Keen Students School (KSS) to address low academic achievement amongst young people in East London. Out of this experience GSL Education was formed, as a culmination of many years of dedicated service to the education sector.
Positive foundations
KSS remains a registered charity working with hundreds of GCSE and A-Level students within our local communities. It has become a highly accomplished study support centre and provider of post-compulsory education. Thanks to KSS, thousands of young people who may otherwise have left school with few qualifications through a lack of motivation, encouragement and attention, have gone on to complete university degrees and built successful careers for themselves.
High aspirations
GSL Education was founded in 2000 to provide schools in Central and Greater London with teachers, teaching assistants, office support workers and IT technicians. We see education recruitment as an active way to directly influence the quality of education for young people in London, and we take our responsibility seriously. As such we are not solely concerned with profit margins: we genuinely want to improve and increase the educational opportunities available to young people in London.
